Location and Hours:
The W2AMC Peconic Amateur Radio Club station, is located at the Custer Institute, 1115 Main Bayview Rd, Southold NY 11971.
The station is operational weekly for member’s and guest’s on Tuesdays from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Special arrangements can be made for contests, schedules, DX opportunities, etc. Please contact N2YIB for access.
Station Features:
The station has all-band capability from 160 meters through 70 cm; operating modes include:
CW, SSB, FM, RTTY and WSJT Digital modes (JT65, FSK, JT9).
Station operating manuals are available.

Yaesu FT-100(160M thru 70CM)
Kenwood TS-450 (160M thru 10M)
Elecraft K3 (160M thru 10M)
Alinco DR130 VHF FM
Antenna Systems:
A 3 element Rotatable HF Yagi (20M, 17M, 15M, 12M 10M)
A 6M 3 element Rotatable Yagi
A 2 meter / 70CM vertical for V/U fm use.
A 137 ft. sloper (160 and 80 meter only) for temporary setups.
A 40M/30M/20M dipole for temporary setups..
Logging and Digital Communications:
The YAESU FT-100 is coupled with the Signalink interface and a desktop computer running WSJT-X provides digital communications from 160m thru 70cm.
Logging is also available with AC Log software.
Power Supplies:
Kenwood PS40 powers the LDG Z-100 Auto tuner and the Signalink.
The LDG Z-100 is used with the HF transceivers on 160 thru 10 meter bands.
THe MFJ 949B tuner and the FT-100 are used for 160 or 80 meter bands only..
The RS-20A Power supply provides +12VDC for the Kenwood TS-450S and the Yaesu FT-100 transceivers.
